This course is designed to develop students' understanding of the global business process. In addition, students will be introduced to both the framework and strategies of business operations, whilst considering competitiveness on a global level and forms of business cooperations across national boundaries, business practices and current trends in the global business arena.

This course introduces the key concepts and principles of Strategic Management in an international business environment. Participants will finish this course being able to understand and apply the steps required to create and evaluate the business from a strategic perspective. This course is structured to help develop the participants' critical thinking skills. The main teaching methods in this course are lectures, projects and case study discussions. As such, for the learning process to be effective it is necessary that you carefully prepare the cases/readings and actively participate in the case discussions.
