Human Resource Management is a specialization area of management which covers few important functions such as workforce planning and strategizing, recruitment, selection, attraction and retention, orientation, training and development, performance and reward management, compensation and benefits, safety and employee relations management etc.
Even if you do not plan to become a human resource manager or a specialist in this field of management, you should still develop people management competencies to manage your subordinates as a line manager. This course is designed to help you become a more effective manager through developing the theoretical knowledge and practical competencies that highly correlates to your professional working life. In addition to lectures, videos, quizzes, and literature reviews, course participants must work in groups on case studies, role plays which simulate real-life activities of a manager.
